Hampton - B

0-3

We played some nice soccer against a bigger and older team. Our girls played with courage and skill. Hampton took advantage of their opportunities, size and strength.

Deer Lakes

0-4

As usual Deer Lakes proved to be a very strong opponent. We played well in the first half which ended in a scoreless tie. Deer Lakes scored early in the second period. We were unable to recover from this setback and our confidence and intensity decreased as the second half continued. We need to be able to maintain our focus and determination for the entire game.

North Allegheny

0-6

We had a respectable first half. The team eventually succumbed to the heat of day and was not able to stay energized. The defense is to be commended because they never gave up and they put forth their best effort to continue to play through the heat. The mid-field and forwards were consistently too slow to the ball and our passing became less decisive. The team needs to focus on keeping their energy level up for the entire 70 minutes, winning more 50 50 balls, and passing better in future matches.

Hampton - A

2-0

Two fine goals by Stacey and Michele off equally impressive assists from Mandy and Doria gave our team the result we needed. Our success in this game will help restore our confidence. We need to build on this performance in preparing for our next game.
